Hand-carved from a solid piece of indigenous wood, this incredible vintage bowls made by  Soninke ethnic group, nomadic people  who are pastoralist scattered throughout West Africa mainly Senegal, Mali and Guinea. They often features beautiful patterned carving details with signs of age and use.

These bowls were originally used for the collection of milk and storage of fresh curdled milk. They have been carefully restored with traditional methods in keeping with their original authenticity.

Perfectly imperfect,  with decorative repair works provides to these bowls an inherent value and beauty of the items. Each bowls is unique. There is no two of this one
